Drawing on Walls

Busy banquet rooms, brand new nurseries, or ramshackle city walls: just a few of the well worn spaces with a broadness that simply invites a sweeping brush and paint to bring vitality to its sphere and the people who interact with it. I really enjoy the bigness of a mural, and the way it can create an entirely new atmosphere, or help bring out the one that’s already there.

This kind of work really differs from the careful, meticulous process of illustration. It’s the kind of project that allows me to let loose and get moving, to stretch out and get up on my feet (sometimes 40 feet in the air!). Can there be any better job than one that lets you draw on people’s walls?
